I wanted to make this How to make money quick on Poshmark just to give you beautiful ladies a quick tip on how to increase sales and bring traffic to your closet.

Following: Following on Poshmark is similar to following on Instagram. Build up a large number of followers to greatly increase your visibility on Poshmark and (by extension) your sales. This may sound daunting, but it happens naturally through being active on Poshmark, following other users, and sharing their listings.
In addition to following users, you can follow brands. This can be helpful if you plan to buy or sell certain brands often.

Sharing: You can share other’s items AND your own items, as many times as you want. When you share an item, it shows up in the feed of anyone who follows you.

HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR ITEMS ON POSHMARK
Develop your following: Following other users with a good amount of followers and sharing their listings is a great way to cultivate followers. People will also start to follow you once you list more items and become active on the app by sharing, commenting, and participating in Posh Parties. The more followers you have, the more people will see your items when you share them.

Sharing: The most important thing you can do to make more sales is share, share, share. Share your items several times a day, particularly during Posh Parties. Think about when your buyers are most likely to be browsing the app: lunchtimes during the weekday, evenings, and most times during the weekend.

If you’re really committed, make a spreadsheet of when you share and the results you get (likes, offers, shares, etc.) This will help you figure out when your audience is active, and you can share at the best possible times.

Drop Prices Strategically: This is a big way to make sales on Poshmark. List your items a bit high to allow room for dropping the price later. Once you have a few likes on your item, drop the price at least 11% to trigger a “sale.” This will send a push notification to all the users who liked your item, reminding them about it.

Price drops usually trigger discounted shipping, so buyers will not only get a lower price, but also a break on shipping costs. Buyers know to expect it, so they will often like an item and wait for the price to drop.

Often, buyers will get the push notification about your item, remember it, and make an offer. Be prepared that the offers will be based on your new, lower price, so might feel a bit low. You can always decline these offers, but I like to take advantage of the buzz created by price drops and make a lot of sales this way. (This is another good reason to list high!)

Make sure you drop prices at strategic times to encourage sales, just like with sharing.

Stock your closet: Having a few listings from highly in-demand brands can help you get more traffic to your closet and help drive sales. I notice my sales are higher when I have Kate Spade, Free People, and Anthropologie items listed.

When you have a lot of items to list, don’t list them all at once. Instead, try listing them in batches of 3-4 a day. Because your items get added visibility when you’re brand new, this will get your closet more visibility overall.
